A London teen took going over the speed limit to another level.
Grey Bruce OPP stopped a vehicle on Highway 6 last Friday afternoon around 1:15 that was going 180 kilometres an hour in an 80 zone in South Bruce Peninsula.
The 18-year-old had his licence suspended and vehicle impounded for seven days.
Twelve others were also caught stunt driving (which is going 50 kilometres an hour or more over the posted speed limit) over the long weekend (July 31st to August 3rd) on what is becoming a popular stretch of highway for those who like to put the peddle down.
Six of those charged were from the GTA, three from the Hamilton area, two were from Quebec, and one was from Barrie.
They too will be without their driver’s licence and vehicle for a week.
