It is World Alzheimer’s Day, and McDonald’s in Exeter, Goderich and Wingham are helping raise awareness and funds from all McCafe beverages sold.
Every 65 seconds, someone in the world develops dementia.
Dementia is not a natural part of the aging process but can occur in people in their 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and the chances of developing it doubles every five years, after the age of 65.
Funds raised from coffee sale will support essential programs, services and education for those living with dementia.
