A 35-year-old Lucknow man is facing a variety of charges following an investigation by Huron County OPP.
Around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, an officer in Wingham spotted a vehicle that matched the description of a stolen GMC Yukon.
The driver fled the scene and police did not give chase.
The investigation revealed the driver’s identity and he was located that afternoon in Goderich where he was arrested on East Street.
He was in possession of methamphetamine and the stolen vehicle was recovered.
His charges include possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, theft under $5,000, three counts of breach of a probation order and possession of drugs.
He is in custody with an Oct. 26 court date in Goderich.
