The Festival of Lanterns in Wingham will be a little different this year.
It will go this Friday in conjunction with the BIA’s retail promotion.
Event Co-Chair Mark McDougall says they have had to make changes to comply with COVID-19 guidelines but still hopes they will be able to put on a great event.
There is also a scavenger hunt, and a Halloween guess and give contest, plus the Jack O’Lantern carving contest.
McDougall says planning for the event has been challenging adding they are prepared in the event it has to be cancelled at the last minute.
