Long term care homes in Huron Bruce will be getting over $1.25 Million in Provincial funding.
The funding will be used to increase prevention and containment efforts in facilities during the second wave of COVID-19.
In a news release, MPP Lisa Thompson says it is paramount that we help keep the most vulnerable residents safe during the pandemic.
The Ford government says they are also launching a recruitment and training drive to address staffing challenges across the province.
They have pledged to increase annual contribution to $1.9 Billion a year until 2024-2025 to create more than 27,000 new positions for personal support workers, registered nurses and registered practical nurses in long-term care.
