New Bruce Power supplier opens office in Wingham

A Bruce Power supplier is setting up shop in Wingham.

Laveer Engineering (based out of Burlington) provides tooling and services for the nuclear industry.

Director Peter Gowthorpe says they managed to secure a 10,000 square-foot facility on the former Royal Homes office at the east end of town.

He says the facility will bode well for his company both in the short and long term.

Gowthorpe says the location was the place at the right price as properties in Kincardine and Saugeen Shores are in high demand and are often expensive.
