Local hospitals are receiving addition funding from the Province.
Each hospital in the Huron Bruce riding will see a 2 percent increase expect for Grey Bruce Health Services which will get a 3.2 percent increase from estimated base and one-time funding received in 2020-2021 for a total of $6.5 Million in new funding.
South Bruce Grey Health Centre (with hospitals in Kincardine, Chesley, Walkerton, and Durham) will get $686,300.
$4,708,500 is going to the Grey Bruce Health Services (with hospitals in Southampton, Wiarton, Lion’s Head, Owen Sound, Meaford, and Markdale).
Alexandra Marine and General Hospital in Goderich will receive $370,900.
$280,200 is going to the Wingham and Listowel Hospital Alliance.

Seaforth Community Hospital ($165,000)
South Huron Hospital Association ($162,900)
MPP Lisa Thompson says these hospitals have risen to the challenge during the pandemic and these investments will help ensure that state of the art health care continues into the future.
