A staff sergeant with York Region Police has been identified as the motorcyclist killed in a collision with an SUV on Highway 6 & 10 near Holland-Syndenham Line in Meaford on Friday.
Grey Bruce OPP say 55 year old Craig Heatley from Bradford West Gwillimbury was taken to hospital where he later died of his injuries.
The passenger on the bike received non life threatening injuries.
The driver of the SUV was taken to hospital and released.
The highway was closed to traffic for a number of hours.
Police are continuing their investigation.
