Bruce County has officially hired a new team of consultants for Brucelea Haven.
Jill Knowlton from Primacare Living Solutions and her four person team begin work Monday, August 26th.
They’ve also hired Anne Grant, a workplace mediator, to conduct interviews, and look at the roll of council and the administration to create recommendations on what can be done to improve workplace morale.
Brockton Mayor and chair of Bruce County’s Homes Committee, Chris Peabody, says the total cost of hiring will be around $100,000 ($25,000 for Anne Grant, and about $72,000 for Primacare), which is $30,000 over budget.
The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care had to suspend new admissions to the Walkerton based facility recently due to major staffing shortages.
Grant will begin her work at the facility this coming Monday.
