The mayor of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh is inviting residents to a public meeting regarding development, namely in the Port Albert area.
It’s being held this Saturday morning at 10 at Christ Church in Port Albert.
Glen McNeil says one area of development in particular may be of concern.
McNeil adds the fact that ACW has the lowest municipal taxes in Huron County, and that the municipality occupies about 26km of the shoreline between Goderich and Amberly, it’s an attractive place to settle down in for people looking to move to the area.
He says with the increase in building permits in Port Albert, it’s important the community get involved in the discussion around development.
