Some Tysick Avenue residents tuned in to Perth council’s online meeting on Tuesday with interest to see if their concerns with neighbouring Lanark Lifestyles Phase II would be addressed.
The residents of Tysick Avenue have expressed their concerns to council in the past with the ineffectiveness of privacy protection features constructed by the builders of Lanark Lifestyle’s Phase II complex; a site that sits on a considerably higher grade than their properties.
They’ve reported that the site plan agreement with the town was not followed and as a result they’ve lost privacy due to a fence not being built to give it more relative height and the reduction of an open landscape buffer separating their backyards from the Lifestyles’ parking area.
Perth’s staff report to council indicated that all of the agreement’s conditions were followed or exceeded.
Council voted to receive that report as information but the mayor indicated residents could appear as a delegation in the future to address their concerns.
