We have a winter storm warning and a special weather statement in effect because of a nasty mix of wintery weather expected to last the next couple of days.
The rain changes to snow this afternoon, we could see 2 cm of snow fall in some parts.
It will be windy too with gusts up to 60 km/h this morning, dropping to 40 this afternoon.
More snow is expected tonight. Some parts of our listening area could see up to 30 cm on the ground by the time it is done.
Watch for a flash freeze as the temperature drops from plus 8 today down to minus 11 overnight tonight.
The snow is expected to be light by tomorrow, ending in the morning.
If you have to head out, please be extremely careful. If you are driving give yourself plenty of extra time and distance on the roads.
Hydro One says be prepared for power outages as they are possible as the weather gets worse.
