Mask mandates in several spots across the province are being lifted on Monday.
That includes in several municipal sites. Perth is no exception as the town is ready to have people cautiously take off face coverings in town run spaces.
Mayor John Fenik tells Lake 88 news he’s encouraging people to be careful whenever they’re out in public.
The Mayor also said the town is moving in step with the lifting of provincial regulations.
Mayor Fenik notes that mask mandates will remain in place at places like the hospital and area long-term care facilities. If all goes according to plan, they can remove the masks at the end of April.
