Police are once again urging parents to talk to their children about online safety.
The Smiths Falls Police Service recently visited CHIMO elementary to speak to students and parents about dangers online.
Constable Aaron Tompkins tells Lake 88 if not just social media and texting you have to keep an eye on.
Tompkins says those conversations have start earlier than ever before.
Devices like cell phones and tablets are everywhere and properly managing your child’s use of them is key to their safety.
The Constable also says its important to routinely check your kids devices, even video game consoles, to ensure they’re being safe online.
