The province is expecting about 40-thousand Ukrainians displaced by the Russian Invasion to arrive in Ontario under a new emergency travel authorization.
Premier Doug Ford told reporters Wednesday that the newcomers will receive access to provincial health coverage, emergency housing and trauma-informed counselling.
Those supports will come through a $449,000 investment in Canadian-Ukrainian community organizations.
Groups in communities across the province are also stepping up to help bring them here.
