Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for our listening area.
The weather agency says rain, heavy at times is expected today and into tonight.
They note that the ground, already near saturation, has little ability to absorb further rainfall. Rainfall amounts of 20 to 30 mm may lead to localized flooding in low-lying areas.
Some parts of the listening area could see 45 mm of rain.
