The Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Board of Directors has appointed Dr. Allyson Champagne as its new Chief of Staff.
She officially took on the role on April 1st.
Dr. Champagne tells Lake 88 it’s an honour and a responsibility she’s looking forward to.
The doctor says one of her priorities will be to help bring more physicians to Carleton Place.
Dr. Champagne, who has been with the hospital for 15 years says one thing the hospital is looking forward to is the new Emergency Department.
Dr. Champagne replaced Dr. Jamie Fullerton who stepped down after nearly three years as CPDMH’s Chief of Staff.
