Conservative MP for Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston, Scott Reid, tells Lake 88 says he’s not impressed with the Federal Liberals’ Budget which he says lacks key components for his riding.
Reid says he would have liked to see immediate aid for housing for lower-income earners.
The long-serving MP says that among other things, he was looking for more spending on defense.
He also says when it comes to rural-specific areas, the budget is also lacking in money for improving high-speed internet in places like the communities served by Lake 88, and others like them across the country.
