Perth’s first ever Tash-ure Hunt goes tomorrow as part of the town’s efforts to recognize Earth Day.
Director of Community Services Shannon Baillon tells Lake 88 the town’s Climate Change Advisory Panel came up with the idea, and she wants to give credit where credit is due.
The event runs from 9 until 1 pm on the 23rd. Anyone taking part is asked to gather at the Crystal Palace where they’ll get instructions and supplies.
Baillon tells Lake 88 there’s a point of pride in keeping Perth looking its best.
After that, it’s back to the palace for entertainment and a chance to win some prizes from grateful local businesses.
