By all accounts, it was a perfect Saturday for the Festival of the Maples, and the thousands who turned out to take part in return of the festival seemed to agree.
People headed to Downtown Perth to celebrate everything maple, visit local producers and vendors, and stop in at local shops.
This year the footprint was expanded to Foster Street to help with social distancing.
Many see the Festival as the unofficial kick off to the summer festival season in our listening area.
If attendance is anything to go by, it’s bound to be a good season in the county, as people return to celebrations after two years of pandemic-forced delays and cancellations.
