Emergency Preparedness Week continues in Canada and Perth Fire Chief Trevor Choffe says this year’s theme sums things up pretty nicely.
That means having things like back-up medications, clothing, and even cash in your kit. That way if the banks are down, you can still buy essentials.
Choffe adds that if you don’t have a kit, now’s the time to get one.
The Chief also says remember to put things your pet needs in the kit too, including food and any of their medications.
Chief Choffe says the pandemic has taught us that we need to be ready for emergencies of all sorts.
