Praise from people who worked with Dr. Paula Stewart, our medical officer of health who just announced she will retire this summer, continues.
Smiths Falls Councillor Peter McKenna had nothing but good things to say regarding Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit’s leader this week as council met.
The radio broadcasts he refers to are her weekly appearances on Lake 88’s In Focus each week for more than two years.
McKenna also sits on the recruitment committee for the next medical officer of health, and said the job posting will be public soon, with the hope to have a replacement named this summer.
We welcome Dr. Stewart today (Wednesday) to talk about her career, and of course to answer your questions about the pandemic.
