Mississippi Mills has reviewed the current COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.
A majority of council agreed the policy will remain in place and continue to apply to all municipal employees and Members of Council.
The policy says all employees and Members of Council must provide proof of vaccination to the municipality to continue to work or attend meetings in person.
If an employee doesn’t provide proof, they will be placed on unpaid leave and could face disciplinary action including termination.
