The sunshine and warmer weather means that several municipalities have put limits on lawn-watering.
Carleton Place’s schedule runs from May through the end of September.
Odd numbered homes can water on odd calendar days, and even numbered homes on even numbered days.
You can water between 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Take note though, during July, you can only turn that sprinkler on in the evening time slot.
If you have new landscaping or sod you can water during the allowed times for 21 straight days, but you have to register with the Town’s By-law Department in advance.
