Students are getting excited for Prom at St. John Catholic High School in Perth.
Now, as Grade 12 student Max Benda tells Lake 88 they’re fundraising to help pay for it.
Benda says Prom is an important night that was taken away from students thanks to the pandemic.
The Grade 12 students are hosting a car wash tomorrow, but as Max says, this isn’t a typical sponge and bucket affair.
It takes place at the car wash on highway 7, or 95 Dufferin St. from 10am until 4pm A donation is all you need to get it done.
Max says all funds go to reducing the price of tickets to the big night for the students from about $100 to $20 or so.
