Lanark County has a new deputy clerk – Megan Beson.
The deputy clerk position provides administrative research and support to the CAO and clerk along with the warden and members of council.
Beson brings more than 14 years of experience in the not-for-profit and local government sectors with her to the role.
Her most recent positions have been as Legislative Services Officer and Interim Legislative Services Manager with the County of Grande Prairie in Alberta.
Prior to 2014, she was employed with Equine Canada in financial and coordination positions, as well as in the high-tech sector.
She begins in her new position on May 30th.
