New Perth Mayor Judy Brown
Last week, Perth Councillor Judy Brown delivered her nomination papers to Town Hall officially starting her quest for the Mayor’s Chair in the town.
Brown tells Lake 88 she feels it’s the right time for her, thanks to the change in the town.
Brown says one of her main objectives would be communication and she says getting all of council involved in planning the future of the town is very important.
Brown says its an exciting and concerning time for the town, and will continue to be for the next four years.
She says they have to pay to ensure those facilities remain viable, and with growth tax revenue will go up to help pay those bills.
She also says she would ensure that residents would be able to reach her and communicate their concerns.
So far Brown is the only one listed on the town’s unofficial list of Candidates for the Mayors Chair. Current Mayor John Fenik announced on Lake 88 late last month that he would be seeking re-election.
