NDP Candidate for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes Chris Wilson says that he agrees with most that affordable housing is a key issue for residents in the riding, and he’s connecting to the need for better health care, especially for mental illnesses.
As for housing he says limiting rent increases between tenants and eliminating renovictions will lead to more affordable housing for everyone. Especially if big buyers are turned off by those rules.
