Holiday Monday means there are some closures in our listening area.
All government offices at the municipal, provincial and federal offices are closed, meaning if you have town business to take care of it will have to wait until Tuesday. There’s also no mail and post offices are closed.
However, many local museums are ready to welcome you.
Liquor and Beer stores are closed, however some dealer locations in corner stores are open.
As for grocery stores, many are open with reduced hours across the region.
In Perth, Barnabe’s YIG, Metro and FoodSmiths are all open.
In Smiths Falls, Andress’ Independent, Walmart, Food Basics, and Garden Market are open.
And in Carleton Place most are closed.
Many Pharmacies are also open today.
Most retail stores are closed for the holiday as well.
The Leeds Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit is closed, they will reopen Tuesday.
