The number of local COVID-19 Hospitalizations has dipped to five, with 2 in ICUs and one on a ventilator.
In its first report of the week, the Health Unit says that only 65 new cases were added in the past week, that is down significantly from the 100 reported last week at this time.
To date there have been 107 fatalities related to the virus in Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville since the beginning of the pandemic. That number was unchanged over the weekend.
The number of outbreaks has jumped by two and sits at six. The two additional cases are in the “other” category, while the number in Congregate Care settings held at four.
