Shawn Pankow, Mayor of Smiths Falls has proclaimed this week as National Accessibility Week in Smiths Falls.
The mayor is encouraging everyone to support equality of access and opportunity for persons with disabilities in the Town of Smiths Falls and everywhere else.
National Accessibility Week takes place every year starting on the last Sunday in May.
It is a time when accessibility and inclusion is promoted across communities and workplaces and a time to celebrate the contributions of Canadians with disabilities.
