Brooke Henderson is back! Smiths Falls native, Canada’s winningest professional golfer tees it up at the Women’s US Open

After being away from the game for several weeks due to an undisclosed illness, Smiths Falls native Brooke Henderson is back on the LPGA tour.

The SFDCI alumni is playing in the Women’s US Open in South Carolina today.

Brooke told TSN that she is feeling much better and the break she took was the result of listening to her body. She says she is ready to go.

Brooke has won 10 times on the LPGA tour including one major title, the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship back in 2016.

She has finished in the top ten before at the US Open, including a tie for seventh in 2021.

She’s playing in a star-studded group today with Nasa Hataoka and Minjee Lee.
