Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston has new representation for the first time since 2007, and its Progressive Conservative John Jordan.
It’s familiar territory for Jordan, whose father Leo represented Lanark-Renfrew through all of the 1990s.
He says watching his father navigate public office taught him valuable lessons before taking on the challenge himself.
He was asked by Lake 88 about the apparent divide between the party and healthcare workers across Ontario, following attack ads calling for a leadership change. The former CEO of ConnectWell Community Health says Ford has their back.
Jordan follows long-time former PC member Randy Hillier who held office since 2007. Hillier spent much of the last session of provincial parliament sitting as an independent.

John Jordan, PC – 50.31%
Drew Cumpson, NDP – 20.54%
Amanda Pulker-Moc, Liberal – 15.71%
Marlene Spruyt, Green – 6.84%
Thomas Mulder, OP – 3.69%
Marcin Lewandowski, New Blue – 1.7%
Chelsea Hillier, Populist – 0.71%
Craig Timothy Massey Rogers, Ind – 0.51%
