Smiths Falls native Brooke Henderson finishes tied for 15th at US Women’s Open

Smiths Falls native and LPGA golfer Brooke Henderson tied for 15th at the Women’s US Open this past weekend.

Brooke, who made her comeback after dealing with an illness for several weeks, shot a four-day total of 286, good enough for 2 over par. That put her 15 back of the winner, Australia’s Minjee Lee.

It’s a successful run for Brooke who had missed the cut in the last two tournaments she had played in, and withdrew from the one before that. That all came before she took time off to get well.
