There is only a slight change to local COVID-19 related hospitalizations in the first report of the week from the Leeds Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit.
There are still four people in hospital, and one person breathing with the help of a ventilator. The number in an ICU has dipped to one from two since the last report which came last Friday.
The number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020 remains 108.
As for outbreaks, there are now four, down from five. There are three in Congregate Care Facilities, and one is listed in the “Other” category.
The health unit also reports there were 73 new cases added in the past week. A dip of six cases from the previous week.
