Brockville Ontario Speedway hosted a benefit for University of Southwest golfer and Amherstview resident Hayden Underhill on Saturday.
Several prizes donated by area businesses were donated from Brockville to Napanee.
Underhill was honoured, and says he’s swinging a club again.
You may remember 20 year-old Hayden was one of two survivors of a tragic traffic accident in West Texas on March 15 .
Underhill is still recovering but showed his appreciation to the crowd on hand this past weekend.
The head-on crash claimed the lives of six of his University of The Southwest Mustangs golf teammates and his coach, along with two other people in the vehicle they collided with.
