This past Saturday, the Lanark County Food Bank: The Hunger Stop opened their doors and welcomed everyone to see their facilities on Mill Street in Carleton Place.
They also held a BBQ fundraiser with help from Rob Carpenter of the Beckwith Butcher.
Many residents turned out to support the important work of the Lanark County Food Bank.
Manager Tammy Parent reported that they fed lots of folks and offered many tours of of the facility.
She and volunteers received a great deal of positive feedback from their guests.
