Flows slowly returning to normal in the MVCA Watershed

Good news from the Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority: the organization says all upper lakes are slowly returning to normal conditions.

Flows and levels along the Mississippi River have been steadily decreasing over the last week.

Barring any significant rainfall, it is anticipated this trend will continue over the next week.

No flooding is expected; however, the watershed will be susceptible to large storm events over the next few weeks that may result in fluctuating water levels.
