The Leeds Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit says it’s transitioning away their pandemic response and beginning to resume non-COVID work.
Part of the shift is reducing the phone lines available during the pandemic that just aren’t busy anymore. The regular phone lines can handle those calls now.
That means the general COVID-19 and school phone lines are now closed.
The Health Unit says, while there are still cases and hospitalizations in the area they will continue to provide important services, like vaccination information and delivery.
The outbreak line at 1-800-660-5853, extension 2222 will also stay open for a while yet.
