MPP John Jordan celebrates his election night win
Newley elected MPP for Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston John Jordan has been appointed to a Parliamentary Assistant position within the Ford Government.
Jordan, a first time MPP, with an extensive background in health care, has been named Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Long-Term Care.
Over the course of the election campaign, Jordan stressed the importance of improving rural healthcare. He told Lake 88 that part of that promise was to increase support to the long-term care system to make it better for residents of our riding and throughout the province.
Premier Doug Ford’s office says the Parliamentary Assistants are critical in delivering on the Government’s plan to build the province.
They support ministers with legislative and committee matters, including special projects and assignments that require dedicated leadership.
