Happy volunteers! Want to join them?
The town of Perth is putting out a call for volunteers.
They’re looking for people to help out at the Re-Use Centre, at the town’s landfill.
It’s a pretty neat concept led by the Climate Change Action Panel. It’s run by volunteers and is open to Perth residents.
Its filled with items that have been discarded or donated, and are free for the taking. They take things like small pieces of furniture, sporting goods, toys, tools, housewares, and much more.
The goal is to keep the still useful items out of the landfill.
They’re looking for help from 8:30am-12 noon on Saturday July 16th, and Saturday July 23rd.
