Our local OPP responded to 315 calls for service last week, a low number considering the time of year.
Among the calls were two for suspected impaired drivers.
On July 14th, 39-year-old Karl Kingsbury from Ottawa was charged after a traffic stop in Carleton Place.
Then on the 16th, 21-year-old DNE resident Kobe Echlin was charged after a single vehicle motor collision.
Both have court dates scheduled in the near future.
If you see a suspected drunk or high driver on the road, don’t hesitate. Call 9-1-1 and report it right away.
