They ask that you please reduce your speed within Lanark County construction zones. Its good advice for anywhere you travel.
Lanark has a by-law authorizing reduced speed limits in the zones to protect the safety of workers and motorists.
Fines for speeding are doubled in construction zones.
If you’re stopped, you will be fined.
