A special presentation was made at this week’s Smiths Falls Police Service Board meeting.
The group says they were honoured to present Sgt. Nadine Wilson with the Governor General’s 20-year Exemplary Service Medal.
Sgt. Wilson started out with the Smiths Falls Police Service as dispatcher in 1994, before becoming a sworn officer in 2001.
Chief Mark MacGillivray thanked Sgt. Wilson, adding that the service is very proud of her.
