Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 approaching double digits – one more outbreak added

The Health Unit reports there are now nine people in hospital with COVID-19 in Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville.

That’s up by one from their last report of the week on Friday.

None are in the ICU or on a ventilator.

The number of local fatalities since the pandemic began sits at 109, unchanged from the last report.

The high-risk case count for the week sits at 156 now, up by six over the weekend.

As for outbreaks, they’ve added another to the list for a total of nine. All are in congregate care facilities, and are responsible for 57 cases.
