The number of COVID-19 related patients in hospitals across Lanark, Leeds and Grenville has held steady at five.
The Leeds Grenville and Lanark Health Unit also reports that there is no longer anyone in intensive care. The number of fatalities has held steady at 109.
As for high-risk cases, six more were added. That continues the trend of slower spread in our area over the past two weeks. Health officials say they expect it to rise again this fall.
As for outbreaks, there are now ten. That’s up by one, with another added to a congregate care facility. There are now nine in those buildings, and one is listed in communal living.
