Who’s running (so far) in the Mississippi Mills municipal election

We continue to highlight some local election races as the deadline to get your name on the ballot for October 24^th is 2 pm. Friday.

Today we look at Mississippi Mills, where incumbent mayor Christa Lowry is running unopposed.

There are two people going for the one Deputy mayor seat in Paul Watters and Rickey Minnille.

There’ll be an odd-person out in the Almonte Ward race. John Dalgity, Janet Maydan and Mary Lou Souter are going for one of the two seats available.

Denny Ferguson is also running unopposed for the Pakenham Ward.

And as it stands, both Beverley Holmes and Vicki Lowe will represent the Ramsay Ward on council as two seats are available.
