Perth Rotary President Bruce Kemp
As you likely know, the Perth Rotary Club recently held its last event.
Their president, Bruce Kemp spoke with us about the hard decision to shut the club down after three quarters of a century in the community.
He says all those who were Rotarians over the years saw the club as a way to give back to the community, but they knew it was time.
Just before closing they had 20 members, and they were not able to continue with the significant contributions to the community they had in the past.
The club is ending on a high note, with $80,000 to distribute to a number of organizations within the community.
