Three Mississippi Mills residents will be getting some special recognition on Thursday.
The Mississippi Mills Community Awards will be handed out, recognizing and honouring individuals for their contribution to life in the municipality.
This year, Al Potvin, Sherryl Smith, and Jane Torrance will be receiving the Community Builder of the Year Award.
They are being recognized for their efforts, through leadership and positive change, to make long-term and long-lasting contributions to the Mississippi Mills.
