Volunteering at your child’s school? You may need a police record check

If you plan to volunteer at your child’s school this year, you may need to get a criminal record check.

The OPP reminds you that these checks are now done online.

The switch was made back in June and has been well received.

You can use the online portal to apply for Criminal Record Checks, Vulnerable Sector Checks, and OPP Non-Parent Custody Checks among others.

Payment is all done through the site and the results are sent securely. You can  start the process by tapping or clicking this text box.
